Returns & Delivery

Goods can only be returned after an authorised returns (AR) number has been issued. Contact Caterparts customer services for AR form with unique number stating the reason for wishing to return the goods.

Failure to return goods with an AR form may result in the refusal of credit or replacement goods.

AR forms will not be issued after 14 days from the date of delivery, with the exception of warranty claims.

Once an AR form has been issued the goods should be returned within 14 days, the package should be clearly marked “Caterparts returns warehouse”, and the package must include a record displaying the AR number.

Should goods be delivered damaged it is the customer’s responsibility to advise Caterparts customer services within 24 hours of delivery, excluding Saturday and Sunday. Goods should be return in original packaging where practical.

Faulty Goods

Depending on the goods to be returned the following information may be required:

Dates of supply and failure. All goods returned must be accompanied by a detailed report explain the nature of the failure and a statement that the goods were fitted by an appropriately qualified technician.

Warranty is dependent on the original manufactures warranty and may be between 3 and 12 months. The warranty on all goods sold by Caterparts is limited to repair or replacement of faulty items, no claim for the labour or consequential costs will be considered.

All exported goods are excluded from general conditions and are to be considered not returnable or covered by warranty.

Goods no longer required or ordered in error

All goods must be returned with an AR number clearly shown within 28 days of delivery and be subject to a 25% restocking charge. No credit will be given for shipping/delivery charges.

In special conditions items may be considered for return after 14 days but a higher level of restocking charge will apply and will depend on original sales price and manufacture.

Printed circuit boards, control boxes or other electronic components will not be accepted back for any credit, unless agreed with Caterparts

Special order parts cannot be returned for credit.

Processing and picking errors

All goods supplied by Caterparts in error due picking or order processing errors will be accepted as returns through the AR number system and time conditions will be processed with a full credit.


Free delivery on orders over £200.00 Net only apply to UK mainland and standard next day delivery.


For export orders outside of UK, Eire and Channel Islands orders can be processed for collection only once order is received we will contact the customer with our shipping options, volume and weight related on a POA basis.
