Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions are a very boring but a necessary requirement of all serious companies. We will always aim to solve problems and issues by open minded discussion as we strongly wish to satisfy our customers by offering a quality service, value for money and a genuine regard for our customers.


These terms and conditions apply to all orders for services and products offered by Caterparts Ltd by means of catalogues, website or otherwise and the right is reserved to change these conditions without prior notice. No other terms will apply unless agreed in writing by an authorised signatory of Caterparts.

Item and service specification and suitability

Item specification, description or guide to suitability is believed by Caterparts to be correct at the time of publication. Images in any publication or website are for illustrative purposes only, scale and colour may vary. Caterparts will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in the information provided. The suitability for purpose of the item supplied is the customer of Caterparts Ltd responsibility, and you are advised that all spare parts (items) are fitted by a technician qualified in an appropriate discipline. Caterparts will not be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of items.

Caterparts items codes are of its own creation to avoid the implication that all parts supplied are sourced from the original equipment manufacturer. 

Prices

All prices offered by Caterparts Ltd are subject to change without prior notice. Written quotes issued by Caterparts Ltd are valid for 7 days from creation for stocked items, out of stock items are subject to pricing changes due to circumstances beyond the control of Caterparts Ltd these will be advised prior to delivery giving the customer the opportunity to cancel the order with the exception of items indicated by item codes beginning SO (Special Order). Items specifically ordered as Special Order (not stocked by Caterparts Ltd) cannot be cancelled if original delivery date was accepted at time of order placement.

Caterparts Ltd website prices are published after every effort has been made to ensure the information is correct. The right is retained to refuse to supply or cancel orders for any item listed at the incorrect price. All stock item order cancellations must be confirmed by fax or email, verbal cancellations may not be acceptable.

Delivery

Delivery will be to account holders address or otherwise within the UK mainland or other addresses offered in standard delivery terms and by the delivery date or time as clearly indicated by the customer at time of order. Non account holder’s delivery will be to address as given at time of order and costs as agreed by Caterparts. Caterparts will not be liable for any consequences of failure in achieving delivery date or time.  For deliveries not completed by indicated date compensation is strictly limited to credit of delivery cost. Delivery dates are not essential and Caterparts shall be entitled to deliver within 90 days after such dates.

 If it is not possible to affect delivery due to wrong delivery address details supplied by the customer or not being available to accept goods on delivery date or time as agreed at order the right is reserved to a charge for redelivery.

Warranty and returns

Goods can only be returned after an authorised returns (AR) number has been issued. Contact Caterparts customer services for AR form with unique number.

Failure to return goods with an AR form may result in the refusal of credit or replacement goods.

AR forms will not be issued after 14 days from the date of delivery, with the exception of warranty claims.

Once an AR form has been issued the goods should be returned within 14 days, the package should be clearly marked “Caterparts returns warehouse”, and the package must include a record displaying the AR number. All modifications to goods will invalidate any warranty and no credit will be issued.

Should goods be delivered damaged it is the customer’s responsibility to advise Caterparts customer services within 48 hours of delivery, excluding Saturday and Sunday. Goods should be return in original packaging where practical.

General exclusions

All exported goods are excluded from general conditions and are to be considered not returnable or covered by warranty.

Update summary

In regard to changes in legislation as effective to our conditions of trading within the UK and by necessity of policy changes, Caterparts Ltd reserve the right to change all terms and conditions without prior notice. These current conditions are extracts and additions to previously published conditions and do not fully replace prior publications.
