Caterparts Part Number
- Always use as many characters of the Caterparts part number as possible. This will speed the search process.
- If the Caterparts number is not known, you can search using the parts Description box i.e. "Solenoid Valve". This will list all items with this description.
- There maybe old Caterparts codes with a Z prefix, please remove this Z then search just on the number.

- WARNING: On certain items this can be a slower option.
Make & Model
- Always select the Manufacturer as this will speed the search process.
- Now you can select the equipment type and see the parts related to that item.
- In order to refine your search select the model number and enter the description of the item required for more accurate results.
Original Reference Number
- Always use as many characters of the Original Code as possible. This will speed the search process.
- You can then refine your search by selecting the Manufacturer.
- If you don't have the Manufacturer code you can still refine your search by using the Manufacturer and description fields.
Pictorial Groups
- Should you not have any of the required information to use the above searches, don't worry. Using the Caterparts Pictorial Search could not be easier. Use a combination of images and descriptions to refine your parts search and find the required part.
